We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, use our services, or contact us:

Account information: name, email address, password (hashed)
Profile data: avatar, display preferences
Payment information: processed securely via Razorpay — we never store raw card data
Usage data: features used, content generated, session duration
Content you create: prompts, generated videos, images, and scripts

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve Lychhee services
To process payments and manage your credit balance
To send transactional emails (receipts, job completions)
To analyze usage patterns and improve AI model performance
To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents
To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Service providers: Supabase (database), AWS S3 (file storage), Fal.ai (AI generation), Razorpay (payments)
Analytics tools: anonymized, aggregated usage data only
Law enforcement: only when legally required

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated media files are stored for 90 days after creation. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.

Access: request a copy of your personal data

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), access controls, and regular security audits. However, no system is 100% secure — use a strong, unique password.

8. Children's Privacy

Lychhee is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@lychhee.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be notified via email or in-app banner at least 7 days before taking effect.
