Lychhee, spelled with a double h, is a web studio for making AI videos, images, voiceovers, music and talking avatars, and for translating videos into other languages. It puts 38 AI models from 15 providers on one credit balance, and it is priced in Indian rupees.
One rule runs through the product: you see what you are paying for before you pay. Every generator names the model that will run and its exact credit cost next to the button, with your balance beside it.
Text to video and image to video, with start and end frames on models that support them. Motion control moves a character from your photo the way a source clip moves, and edit changes an existing clip from a written instruction. Compare runs one prompt on two models side by side.
Up to five images per run in six aspect ratios, from square to 16:9 and 9:16, with an optional reference photo on models that accept one.
Voiceovers, dialogue between several speakers (up to 12 lines), voice design from a description, voice cloning from a sample, music tracks and sound effects.
A portrait and a script, or a portrait and your own audio, becomes a talking-head video. Lip sync re-times the mouth in an existing video to new audio.
Pick a genre, a visual style, a camera body, lens, focal length and aperture, and Cinema Studio compiles them into a cinematic prompt for an image or a video shot.
Dubs a video into 20 languages, 9 of them Indian: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi.
A canvas that chains text, uploads, image, video, voice, music and avatar steps. A planner turns a description into steps with a model and a price for each, and never runs anything on its own.
Lychhee runs models from Kling, Google, ByteDance, Alibaba, xAI, MiniMax, OpenAI, Black Forest Labs, Ideogram, Recraft, ElevenLabs, Qwen, Stability AI, Fal.ai and Sync Labs. You choose the model for each generation; the lineup changes as providers release new ones.
Generation is paid in credits. An image costs 1 to 3 credits; video is billed per second of output, at 0.5 to 9.5 credits a second depending on the model; voice is billed per 1,000 characters. Credits are reserved when a job starts and returned to your balance automatically if it fails.
Monthly plans add credits every month, and one-time credit packs top up any plan. Payments go through Razorpay by card, UPI, net banking or wallet, in rupees. Plans and pack sizes are on the pricing page.
A public REST API and an MCP server let Claude, Cursor or any MCP client generate with a Lychhee account, billed to the same credit balance. API keys are scoped, and read-only keys cannot spend credits. Setup steps and the tool reference are in the API and MCP guide.
